For the second consecutive year, myPOS was recognized as “Company of the Year” at the prestigious Forbes Business Awards. Among 120 companies competing in the 13th edition of the competition, myPOS not only won the grand prize but also claimed first place in the “Finance” sector for the third consecutive year.
The two trophies were received by Maxim Kochnev, in the presence of over 200 entrepreneurs, senior managers, and public figures.
“I hold these trophies in my hands for yet another year because myPOS has once again exceeded even the boldest expectations,” he said, expressing his gratitude to the company’s customers and partners and reminding everyone that myPOS recently completed its acquisition deal with Advent International, a leading global investment firm.
“This award is for them, and I’m sure we’re just getting started and soon we’ll make Europe proud of us.”
The winners of the competition were announced at a special ceremony at the Hyatt Regency in Sofia, where five companies reached the final round in the “Finance” sector: MFG, OBBC, Payhawk, tbi bank, and myPOS.
The Forbes Business Awards have a history of over 100 years and are among the most coveted awards in the business world. Every year, companies and entrepreneurs compete in various sectors of the economy, such as finance, trade, information and communication technologies, manufacturing, and services.
This year, the nominated participants were evaluated by an 8-member jury composed of recognized business experts and entrepreneurs. The finalists were ranked based on general and sector-specific criteria, such as product and service quality, future goals, and marketing practices.
