Handheld barcode scanner
Datalogic Gryphon I GD4590 is a high-performance 1D and 2D scanner designed for fast and reliable operation.
It is intended for professional use in retail stores, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, healthcare institutions, and administrative environments.
The model features a 1-megapixel sensor, white illumination, and advanced 2D technology that enables the reading of standard 1D and 2D barcodes, postal codes, stacked codes, and composite codes.
Motionix technology detects the operator’s movements and automatically switches between handheld and presentation modes. This allows the scanner to be used comfortably both in the hand and on a stand.
The 1-megapixel sensor provides good depth of field and reliable reading of different types of codes.
The scanner recognises standard linear, two-dimensional, postal, stacked, and composite codes, including QR, Data Matrix, PDF417, and GS1 DataBar.
Barcodes can be scanned regardless of their orientation, without requiring the operator to align them with the device.
The scanner detects the operator’s movements and automatically switches between handheld and presentation modes.
Green Spot, three green indicator lights, LED signals, and an adjustable audible signal confirm that the code has been read successfully.
The device can be used as a standard handheld scanner or as a presentation scanner placed on a stand.
The ergonomic shape, balanced body, and weight of 161 grams reduce strain on the operator’s hand.
The Gryphon I GD4590 withstands drops from a height of up to 1.8 metres onto concrete and has an IP52 protection rating.
In addition to barcodes, the device can capture images and documents in BMP, JPEG, and TIFF formats.
Support for RS-232, USB, and Keyboard Wedge interfaces allows connection to various POS, ERP, and administrative systems.
